Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I wait till the course commence then I register on the first lesson?
A: Preferably NOT. The CC will only inform the Instructors to commence the course only upon receiving registration on minimum 12 students. If everyone were to wait and see, the course will never commence.
Q: My kid is less than 6 years old. Can he join your Wushu class?
A: Yes. As long as your kid is above 4 1/2 years old, you can register him/her with the CC. During the first lesson of the Beginner Class, the Instructor will assess his/her ability to cope. If he's found unsuitable, you can get a full refund from the CC.
Q: I'm a parent and I'll like to accompany my kid to train in his class. Can I join in the Wushu class?
A: Yes. As long as you don't mind the slower pace of the young kids, you are welcome to join. You'll have to get yourself registered as a students too.
Q: Can my kid who doesn't have any experience in Wushu join the class?
A: Yes. Your kid can join the Beginner Class which will teach students from the very basic.
Q: Can my kid who is taking or has taken Wushu in school or elsewhere skip the Beginners Level and join classes of higher level?
A: Possible. The Instructor will assess his/her competency level and put him/her in the appropriate level.
Q: Can my kid who has learnt some other forms of martial arts other than martial arts of Chinese origin join classes of higher level?
A: No. From our experience, students who've prior experience in other martial arts possess skills which do not adhere to the styles taught here and they have to start from the Beginner phase. However, if he/she manages to pick up and adjust to the styles required, he/she may be considered for a jump in level at the later stage.
